Description
Dogs and cats are prone to ear infections for a number of reasons, but you can use Zymox Otic Hydrocortisone Free cream to kill the infection, no matter what its origin may be. Called otitis externa, these infections are most often caused by yeast and other factors. Itching, pain and rawness are some of the symptoms you may notice in your pet. Help your pet get relief by applying Zymox Otic Hydrocortisone Free cream. When rubbed onto a dirty canine or feline ear, the cream combats the bacteria and yeast. After a week of daily applications, the infection should be gone. Chronic infections may need two weeks of daily application for relief. See your vet if the infection doesn't seem to be subsiding. Zymox Otic Hydrocortisone Free cream is a topical cream that works best on unwashed ears, and you should keep your pet away from water throughout the treatment process.
Zymox directions:
No prior or post cleaning required
Apply liberally to fill ear canal
Gently massage, working medication into infected area
Permit pet to shake their head to remove excess
Treat once a day for 7 days for acute infections
Treat once a day for 14 days for chronic infection

Useful Information
Shake well, then apply liberally to un-cleaned ear, filling ear canal, Gently massage and work into infected area. Wipe to remove excess. Apply once a day for 7 days, 14 days for chronic ears. Safe for extended use on persistant cases.
Important: Do not clean ears before or during use. Do not use in conjunction with other topical ear products or cleaners. Do not allow water in or near ear during use, reapply if water gets in ear. If condition persists or worsens, discontinued use and consult your veterinarian.
Warning: Do not use on punctured ear drums. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.

Zymox works

My cat had an ear infection (confirmed by vet) and was prescribed trasadem. After 2 weeks, the infection was not gone. His ear had a bad odor. I used Zymox for 2 weeks and the bad odor is gone. I also bought the zymox cleanser to keep his ears clean to prevent further problems. I am going to keep this on hand as my cat has problems with his ears and this really works.

The first time our lab had an ear infection (seasonal allergies, gets them every spring and fall) the vet prescribed a product that caused complete hearing loss. Fortunately, the hearing gradually started to come back after a few days, however, we were no longer to use the prescription. I found ZYMOX online and, after checking with our vet, tried a small amount. Two days later we saw a significant improvement, and in less than a week the ear was fine, and no hearing loss! Since then, ZYMOX is all I use on any of my three dogs and the results are unmatched by any other product we have ever tried.

Have a rescued Bichon who came to us with serious yeast infections in both ears. After two weeks of treatment, his ears are infection free! I tell everyone about this product!

I\'ve had the opportunity to use the Zymox Enzymatic Colution, Hydrocortisone Free on my Golden Retriever and I\'ve been so pleased with the immediate results that I\'ve been sharing the news with everyone! It far outperforms any other chronic yeast ear infection medication that we\'ve spent literally hundreds and hundreds of dollar for. I highly, highly recommend Zymox!

My male German Shepherd has chronic ear issues. Zymox is the only product that has helped him. Now we keep a bottle on hand to treat the once-in-awhile recurrances. \"A little drop will do ya!\"
