comes with a Reptisun 5.0 UVB compact fluorescent and Basking Spot Lamp. Best used with Reptile Terrariums and Zoo Med's Reptile Lamp Stand for maximum safety.The Reptisun 5.0 UVB compact fluorescent helps to prevent metabolic bone disease commonly seen in captive reptiles at 6-12 months of age. Provides UVB for vitamin D production and calcium metabolism. Lamp emits UVA which is seen by reptiles and helps to increase activity levels, appetite, and reproductive behaviors.

Both lamps are designed for a minimum 20 gallon enclosure. Make sure your lamp fixture is rated for the wattage of your lamp. Never put a dome lamp on top of a cage unless the top ring is securely fastened. Use Zoo Med's Reptile Lamp Stands for additional safety.
