2008 Westminster Dog Show

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show held its 133rd annual dog show. This years show made headlines and also history for the Westminster Kennel Club. The two day event was held Monday and Tuesday February 9th and February 10th at Madison Square Garden.

Over 169 breeds and varieties were judged including: Beagles, Weimaraners, Dachshunds, French Bulldogs, Pugs, a variety of Retrievers and more! The most coveted prize for "Best in Show" received a Silverplated Trophy. Other prizes included Silverplated Trophies for Group winners including: Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding.
