Description

Composure Mini Bite Sized Chews provide a calming formula to support balanced behavior for dogs and cats. Composure Mini is ideal for situations when your pet is exposed to increased environmental stressors, including: changes to the environment, company or parties, veterinary or grooming visits, boarding or holidays, boredom or separation anxiety, moving or traveling, fireworks and thunderstorms. Composure Mini will help stop stress related behavior while keeping your pet's personality and energy level. It is safe to use daily, and does not cause addiction, drowsiness or impaired motor skills.

This advanced formula contains:
  • C3 (Colostrum Calming Complex) is isolated from colostrums proteins, which have been found to support cognitive functioning and support stress reduction. C3 works synergistically with L-Theanine, which is also in this formula, to promote relaxation and cognition in pets.
  • L-Theanine supports calming and relaxation, reduces irritability and low mood states. This natural occurring amino acid is found in green tea, and is a derivative of glutamic acid, a neurotransmitter in the brain. It can help the body produce Dopamine, GABA and Tryptophan, other calming amino acids, and helps bring certain neurotransmitters into better balance.
  • Thiamine (Vitamin B1) helps manage stress and reduces irritability. Thiamine has been shown to calm and soothe anxious animals by affecting the central nervous system. Without Thiamine, pets exhibit mental confusion, muscular weakness, muscle spasms, nervousness, as well as weight and appetite loss during times of stress.

    Composure chews work
    June 4, 2015
We have 2 Golden Retriever rescue dogs who have had horrific experiences before we got them. they are terrified of thunderstorms, loud noises and unfamiliar places and people. We use the Composure chews as soon as we know a thunderstorm will be in our area to help calm the anxiety in both dogs. We also use the Composure chews before Veterinarian visits and if there are loud sustained noises outside in our area (trucks/road crews working/tree cutting/ loud lawn mowers/etc. so that the dogs are not afraid to go outdoors.
Easy to use. they take them as treats.

I recommend it to all my clients with Hyper, anxious dogs.

Our anxious dog visited family a lot more relaxed

We tried Composure on our most anxious rescue dog. He gobbled up the chicken flavor right away, so it clearly tastes good. He was visibly more relaxed during a visit. Where he normally freeze up in fear, he was a lot more sociable and calm looking.

    Didn't work for my dog

I have a 14 lb shih-tzu that has anxiety when I leave the house. He has to be crated because he'll pee in the house if I'm not home. The first 2 weeks, I gave him 1 chew, but then increased to 2. No change. He still gets super anxious & will pee/poop in his crate.
My dog loved the chews. Didn't work to relieve my dog's anxiety.

I use this calming formula because it is natural. I had to use it for one of my dogs to take him to the Vet to just get his nails clipped. Was so much nicer, better and faster! It took 5 people to hold him down. Because he was 100lbs, we still needed at least 4 people but it was snip, snip, snip, struggle, struggle, then snip, snip, snip, snip and before I knew it they were done. 5 minutes not 20! Where I was certain before I used it that he was going to hyperventilate...I was scared for him! When I gave this to him the next Vet visit...SO MUCH BETTER!

I now use it for the new 2 year old I have who gets anxious if the pack is not near, Separation Anxiety. It really calms him down and he doesn't pace. He is starting to calm down where I do not need to give him but maybe 1 only if he shows anxiety.

I also recommend this to all my clients who's dog is hyper and can't calm down or shows anxiety in any form.

Veterinarians like that I recommend this formula to my clients dogs.

My dog has bad separation anxiety and is terribly afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. I have been giving him Composure for about six months now and his anxiety seems to have lessened quite a bit.
He takes his Composure like a treat each morning. I really believe it has helped a lot. He still has some anxiety issues, but they're not as severe as they were before.

Our dog has benefitted greatly from vetriscience composure

We adopted a rescue Great Pyrenees who is very thunderstorm phobic and noise phobic and deals with anxiety. Vetriscience composure calming treats have been a wonderful help for her. When weather comes or loud noises are going on, we give her a triple dose of the snacks and it helps to settle her down.
Our dog loves the taste. Very reasonably priced through healthy pets compared to other retailers/ vets. None

I work at an animal clinic and a lot of our patients are using this product. It helps for a variety of stress related issues your pet may be experiencing. From things like thunderstorm anxiety to urinating in the house, I've seen this product help. Personally I use this for my rottweiler/boxer mix for storm anxiety, and also before baths and grooming. Try it :) and if you don't trust it, ask your veterinarian because Vetri-Science is a respected company!
Calms pets during storms, separation anxiety, aggression, thunderstorm anxiety, behavioral issues like marking territory or urinating outside of the box/in the house. sometimes your pet may not want to eat it. My dog catches onto "medicine" real quick, so I have to hide the treats in a little soft food so he gobbles them up. and always remember it takes a couple weeks of daily use before you may see improvement with behavioral issues.
