This is in regards to my little Pekingese mix, Sassy, who will be 15 years old this year and MOST finicky about her treats. She's not been a big fan of chewing in years and has had some dental issues and a number of teeth removed. There's no way she would tolerate my attempting to brush her teeth at this late age so my vet suggested I give these chews a try. She absolutely LOVES them. I've also noticed that they seem to help her breath.

I own several dogs and brushing their teeth is not something I have time to do. I rather be out doing fun activities with them. However I do know how important dental care. My dog really loves these bone-shaped treats. The bones are hard. One "Bonie" will keep my dog blissfully busy, gnawing and chewing on it for about fifteen minutes. Aside from seeing my dog enjoy them, I like their natural ingredients such as brown rice powder and others. Many times I give my dog half a Bonie for the sake of being resourceful. I use the vanilla mint toothpaste on my 4yr old mixed breed dog. Brady has been getting his teeth brushed almost everyday since he was 6 months old. He love the taste and I let him lick the toothbrush when we are done. He has no tartar buildup and his teeth are still pearly white. I am a vet tech so I know the importance of oral hygiene in pets.
