Aggressively enhances healing of cavernous wounds by removing (sterilizing) accumulations of serosanguinous fluid and purulent material, and obliterating dead space. Silverlon is proven to be antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal, effective against all wound pathogens including Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococcus fecalis (VRE). Also kills Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is hypoallergenic, safe, effective, non-cytotoxic wound therapy for both large and small animals. A uniform coating of silver ions over a fine nylon mesh creates a sustained silver environment that supplies: • Progressive sterilization of exposed tissues in the wound • Reduction in wound edema (swelling) • Stimulation to activate the formation of healthy skin and tissue • Minimal scar contracture • Rapid reduction in wound pain

Over 24 hours, 6.0 to 14 micrograms of silver are passively released. Bacteria and fungi do not develop resistance to silver ions.
