Resi KetoCHLOR Leave-On Lotion is specifically formulated with ketoconazole and chlorhexidine for dermatological conditions where an antifungal, antiseptic and antimicrobial conditioner may be beneficial. Lotion is easily applied and allows for prolonged contact time of the ingredients with the skin and hair coat without rinsing. Free of oily or sticky residue on the hair coat. For use on dogs, cats and horses.
Anti-Adhesive Formula that reduces bacterial and yeast adhesion to the stratum corneum of the skin. This action physically disrupts micro-organism colonization of the skin surface and may delay onset of irritation due to topical bacteria or yeast
Spherulites Microcapsules: an encapsulation process that provides a slow release of ingredients long after lotion application.
Chitosanide: a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair coat.
Ingredients
Ketoconazole 1%, Chlorhexidine gluconate 2.3% in a luxuriant conditioning base containing water, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, dimethyl stearamine, lactic acid, tetrasodium EDTA, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, fragrance. Also contains spherulites microcapsules.
Useful Information
After shampooing (or wetting) the hair coat, apply an adequate amount to cover entire hair coat along back of animal. Massage well into the skin and hair coat. Apply more as needed. (Amount will vary according to size of animal and length of hair coat.) May be used in localized areas or between shampoos. May be used daily or as directed by your veterinarian.
CAUTION: Federal Law (USA) restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Consult a veterinarian before using on debilitated animal. If condition persists, or no improvement in 21 days, consult your veterinarian. Wash hands and exposed skin after using.

A must have!

This product is a lifesaver. Whenever I see signs of irritation on my pit mix I wipe her down with a damp washcloth and then apply about a nickel sized amount to her coat. The irritation magically goes away. I will always keep this on hand.
My vet prescribed Ketochlor shampoo for her but I find that the leave in lotion works wonders. I use both Ketochlor shampoo and Allermyl. Fabulous products!
