I have used Premier collars for years, and I find them the best collar for my situation. I frequently remove my dogs (I have 5) collars for competition and when they are around the house. The no buckle design makes removal and installation easier than a snap or buckle design.
However, the last two collars I purchased from Healthy Pets have an annoying tendancy not to hold their size adjustments. They always seem to increase in size after the dog has them on for a while. This makes them much too loose.
I have compared my older collars and the newer ones to try and determine what the crucial difference is, and the only thing I find is that the webbing on the newer collars is slightly thinner and more flexible than the older collars. The older collars do not have this slipping problem.
Over all, I still like the premier collars and would recommend them. Make sure you remove them before the dog is engaged in any activities where there is a possibility that the collar can get caught on something. This is a good idea with any collar, but these collars have an extra loop that makes it even more likely to get caught on something if the dog is running free.
