I have used this on puppies and cats never having a reaction. I have used many products over the years but this is the *BEST* by far. I wash the animal then wait a couple of days so it will pick up the fleas then I spray in the bathtub because the fleas will jump off and die shortly after being sprayed. I respray when bathing or every 3 weeks when fleas are around. Remember flea eggs can live in your yard and carpet for 2 years as an egg, so for 2 years you will need to use this as noted on the bottle then after the 2 years you are home free and flea free. BEST FLEA SPRAY EVER BY FAR. I have used this for at least 20 years.

I was first introduced to Ovitrol spray by my Vet. I use it regularly and have never seen fleas on my dog. I brought this spray to a friend of mines house and she had problems with fleas. We took her dog outside and sprayed it and the fleas were steadily falling off dead. Right then I knew this was a product I would stick with. I use the shampoo also. Great product.

It did not work. I tried it on my cats and dogs several times (2 different years) and have had to buy the expensive topical treatments due to this product's lack of effectiveness.

you can use a dap on pups and dogs and it works. U can put a drop one your finger and rub it on the pups back and same for the adult but you can spray just a bit on its neck and rub it down its back the fleas go away. capstar pill are good too.
