Administration
• Iverhart Plus for dogs is easy for many dogs to take without intervention
• It comes in a tasty soft chew that reminds dogs of their normal treats
• If your dog refuses to eat it, you can wrap it up in a piece soft food or a pilling treat

Side Effects
• While side effects are uncommon with this heartworm preventive treatment, not all dogs will react in the same way
• Some of the possible side effects your dog may experience include vomiting, diarrhea, unstable movement, depression and pupil dilation
• If your dog exhibits these or any other unusual symptoms, take your dog in to the veterinarian immediately so your vet can rule out negative effects of the medication
