Proprietary Blend of Ingredients

Our formula contains antioxidants to help reduce oxidative stress. This powerful joint supplement is intended for older or middle-aged large dogs or smaller dogs with maximum joint support needs such as lubrication, cushioning of tissues, and support of cartilage, connective tissues, and bones.

Active Ingredients

Glucosamine and Chondroitin help keep joints and connective tissues resilient, lubricated, and mobile. Chondroitin is necessary for healthy cartilage as it absorbs water to keep the cartilage hydrated and cushioned.

Anti-Inflammatory Agents & Antioxidants

Joint MAX contains MSM, an organic form of sulfur. Healthy connective tissues and cartilage contain proteins with flexible sulfur bonds. Once the sulfur combines with glucosamine and chondroitin, they form collagen, a substance that gives cartilage its structure and flexibility. Antioxidants also play a significant role in the overall health of your dog and its joints. Vitamin C helps repair and construct cartilage to keep your pet mobile and happy.

Omega-3 fatty acids, like EPA & DHA, help to ease joint stiffness by providing cushion to tissues. All these ingredients work together to help keep your dog active longer with fewer mobility issues

Too strong on stomach
April 26, 2020
I wanted to switch to a stronger joint supplement for my senior Collies and decided to try Joint Max. Within 1 1/2 weeks the product was causing major diarrhea for my one Collie and causing the other to eat grass. The smell is quite strong and not very pleasant but the girls didn’t seem to mind. The product clumps, a little difficult to measure out, but if I could have continued to feed, it would not have mattered.

Sticky consistency to product
March 18, 2018
The consistency of this product doesn’t really fit the term “granules.†It is a giant sticky lump in a tub. I have to dig into it with the scoop, then use a toothpick to dig it out of the scoop and break it up over my dog’s food. I contacted Customer Services, and “Abe†told me that it should be loose granules that you pour over the food. He sent me a return label, and sent out another tub, which was exactly the same. We are on our third tub now, and it is the same consistency. It smells awful, too! However, we adopted our nine-year-old Brody from a shelter recently, and he came to us with Lymes disease and lots of allergies that we are still trying to sort out. With the Lymes, we wanted to get him on some joint support, but there is very little on the market that does not have any protein-based flavoring, so we were glad to find this product, in any case.
  • This is about the only joint supplement available for dogs that is hypo-allergenic.
  • Difficult to measure out and use, due to sticky lumpy consistency
  • Strong, unpleasant smell

Good Product-- good value.

I have used Joint Max for my older dogs for several year\'s now. It works as well or better than Glycoflex and it is more economical. I like the granular form as it is easy to administer by putting a scoop on their evening meals. Tip: If your dog doesn\'t like the granules, sprinkle a small amount of water over them and they will dissolve into a tasty paste that the dog will enjoy.

My Lab started having very severe hip pain at the age of 2. He is now 6 and doing absolutely fantastic thanks to Joint Max! We give him the maintenance dose now unless we detect a limp then it goes back up! My big guy (110 lbs) has avoided surgery and leads a pain free active life. Joint Max is a terrific product.

I have used Joint Max for years. It does work for my German Shepherd Dog who showed signs of arthritis at an early age(6). He is now 12. I credit Joint Max for extending his working career as a Police K9 and his quality of life in retirement.
