GlycoFlex® is a nutritional dietary supplement for dogs of all breeds throughout their lives. It is made from pure freeze-dried Perna canaliculus (Green-Lipped Mussel from New Zealand). It contains all major classes of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) including Chondroitin -4- and -6- Sulfates. The Perna in Glyco-Flex® is also rich in amino acids, naturally chelated minerals, numerous enzymes, vitamins, and nucleic acids (RNA and DNA).
Each chewable tablet contains 300 mg Perna canaliculus (Green Lipped Mussel).
Ingredients: Perna canaliculus (Green Lipped Mussel), Brewer's Yeast, Alfalfa.
Initial: (4 - 6 weeks)
Up to 15 lbs: 2 tablets daily
16 - 30 lbs: 3 tablets daily
Maintenance: (After initial period of 4 - 6 weeks)
Under 15 lbs, amount can be lowered by 1/2 tablet per month.
Over 16 lbs, daily amount can be lowered by 1 tablet per month.
If giving more than 1 tablet, divide between AM and PM.

Joint protection

I have been giving Glyco Flex Classic 600 mg to my Rottweilers for about 30 years. I have senior dogs that are sound, and I have even seen this product work with a dog that the owner was going to put to sleep, due to the dog's arthritis pain, and the owner started the dog on GF and the dog was able to live for 2 more years w/out the crippling pain. I start my pups on this GF right away and keep them on it for life.

My 6 yr old Shar Pei mix was having problems with his joints, like his patella, the vet recommended this product and after the 6 week initial dose I saw a remarkable improvement in his movement and his eyes they are bright, he had always had pain in his right we thought hip but it was his \"knees\" in the back that was the actual problem he is a new dog, we adopted him 2 yrs ago
