Fortiflora for felines
I've been using fortiflora on my cats food for about 2 years. I volunteer at the Shelter with cats and it came highly recommended. My vet and other volunteers use it and thought it was good as a probiotic for felines. I put it in dry food, stir it around and they love the taste. I think it's helped my one cat overcome diarrhea. It also helps to keep them from getting URI that I may carry home on my clothes.

My little Doxie, Baxter has struggled with irritable bowel disease for a couple of years now. At times he was extremely ill and had to be hospitalized. Vet started him on fortiflora and ID dog food. He has not had a flare up in several months and seems to be much happier.
ProsEasy to administer and must taste good because he has no problem eating it on his food

My little dog has irritable bowel disease and has to take fortiflora every evening meal for his disease. So far this past month he has had no flare up. It is so more more inexpensive than the vets. I ordered the three box set and saved quite a lot of money. He will be on fortiflora for the rest of his life. It is a Godsend.

Nutritional supplement purchase
We have been buying Fortiflora canine at the vet for a year. Purchase required a 20 mile trip. Ordering from healthy pet is convenient and reasonable. Our order arrived right on time & we are pleased with the service.
ProsConvenient & reasonable

Our little, old dog is having intestinal problems. Unable to keep food down, diarhea, and loss of apetite. The vet indicated it could be pancreas issues or other intestinal problems, and recommended Fortiflora. After several days, she is back to eating normally and the vomiting and diarhea are gone. I am always skeptical of nutritional supplements, but this one really works.
ProsWorks great, reasonable cost, easy to use
ConsI was trying to find out from various sources about proper dosage and how long the product can be used. No one seems willing to share this info.

This supplement has been a God send for my poodle mix that seemed to constantly have what I called a "funny tummy". Kibble seemed to be the culprit for his tummy troubles and he now has a sready diet of it. 🙌🙌🙌🙌

New life for senior cat.
Gabe is a near 20 yo cat who I thought was on his last legs, low energy, losing weight, fur dull and he would throw up 2 or more times a week. He'd also become a fussy eater, not liking his food much any longer. I read about FortiFlora, bought some and he has developed an interest in life again. It seems near miraculous the change in him. He eats his food, has put on weight, his fur has new luster and he seems good for another few years. What an amazing difference. I'm sure it is the FortiFlora, I haven't changed anything else in his diet or environment. I love what it has done for him.
ProsPacket is good for 3 or 4 feedings so about 25 cents per feeding; very economical.
ConsNone so far.

My dog loves this!!!!
My GSD is a very picky/finicky eater partly because he has a sensitive stomach. Most days he only eats 1x a day and maybe not even all his food for the day. He was recently sick and wouldn't eat. The vet gave us a 10 day sample pack of the FortiFlora to give 1x a day. Once we started putting this on his food, he immediately would gobble up his food and his stomach issues seemed to have resolved. If my dog, who can only eat a certain expensive brand of dog food, can tolerate and love this, so will your dog. I also think it helps that it is beef flavored :)
ProsEasy to give as you just sprinkle over their food Beef flavored, so is enticing to pet Healthy for your pet as it is a probiotic

My cat has a constipation problem and my vet recommended mixing a packet of FloriFlora into his food daily. It helps soften his stool so it helps with the constipation. Great product!!

This isn't a magic elixir, but it works very well
I've used this product off and on over the past few years. It works very well, but it does take some time to kick in and do it's thing. All products like this are like that though. Overall, it's a good product if your dog has intestinal issues.
ConsPricey and takes a while to work

Great item for immune system
My cat would get sick if he got stressed over anything. A friend recommended this. You put it directly on his food. He likes it but best of all it keeps him from getting sick. He has the herpes virus.
ProsCat likes the flavor and it strengthens his immune system.
ConsYou don't need to use the entire pack.

It was suggested I use this to get my cat to eat anything. It does help, but she is so picky! It's not a cure all for that. It's supposed to help with the digestion, which it does. Good stuff. I don't use the whole packet, but maybe a third of it.
ProsCat likes the flavor. Helps with digestion.
ConsThe cat can still smell the food underneath and isn't fooled if she doesn't want to eat it.

Great For Older Dogs
My vet diagnosed my dog with "Irritable Bowl Syndrome" and sold me a weeks supply of this product. It helped her so much that she was a changed dog! My vet suggested I give it to her a couple of times a week. Before buying it from them I did a little research and found it here for a lot less than my vet sold it for. This is the second order I have made of this product and I have been very pleased with the prompt shipping and the ordering process. I have a 50lb Border Collie and I give her a package of this product every other day.

Helped a gassy dog
My 65 lb pit bull mix had a lot of gas. Giving him fortiflora with each meal has all but eliminated the problem. He still gives an occasional toot but the odor is not nearly as bad.

Great product, use for IBD
My 15 year old cat has had IBD (inflammatory bowels disease) for the past 3 years. I have had him on and off this product to help with his chronic diarrhea, I notice results within days. Great product and the price at Healthy Pets is the best I have found so far!

If she hasn't had her FortiFlora, we can't be in the same room with her!
Our German Shepherd "daughter" had terrible digestive "gas" and obvious discomfort before starting FortiFlora--She's greatly improved now, and no more disgusting odors!
ProsEasy to give, she doesn't even notice it in her food, the online price is right.
ConsCan't think of any.

I give a packet to my cats every day and they seem to enjoy the flavor. They have both received antibiotics over the years, so these probiotics restore intestinal balance. Makes the litter box easier to clean, too!

I would have saved over $1200.00 in medical bills
At the vet, my kitty had to go through numerous blood tests and poking. Her poor little butt was raw and bleeding and she was terrified to use the litter box. She had numerous injections of prednisone and antibiotics. The vet wanted to do a colonoscopy (very expensive). We just decided to love her as long as she lasted. A friend suggested FortiFlora. My cat thinks it's kitty-candy. She is not cured but things are greatly improved.
Prosit's worth a try... it saved our cats life. It's not expensive and easy to use.

Helps my cat! Great product! Cheaper here than at the vet.

More Pros, than Cons
As a volunteer with a local Cat Rescue organization, we come across many products recommended by our Veterinarians & word of mouth. We use this product all the time. It helps encourage cats to eat Canned food; helps with diarrehea; replaces necessary flora lost when giving anti-biotics, and the list goes on. But, remember.... everything in moderation.

FortiFlora is the best!!
FortiFlora is a GREAT thing to keep handy on the shelf at home! One of my dogs has stomach issues from time to time. When it happens, the diarrhea starts, she loses her appetite.. At the onset of diarrhea, I mix a packet with her food, once a day for a day or two, and she\'s back on track!

Our 14 year old \"front door dog\" lab mix showed up 13 years ago and has only had one problem and that is loose stools. After about 9 years of dealing with multiple very loose stools a day, our vet thought we should try ForteFlora. What a difference it has made! We no longer have to take a bucket of water outside to clean up, we can use a scooper and it works fine. If you are dealing with a dog like ours, try this and you should see a difference in less than a month.

And it taste good too
Our 14 year old lab mix loves her FortaFlora. She loves the taste and it keeps her stomach from going ballistic. If your dog has stomach problems you should try this product! We call it her \"fairy dust\" and whatever it is, it really helps with a hyperactive gut.

My cat CRAVES this stuff, LOVES it!
When i ask, \"Do you want your yummy drink?\' she about knocks me over. She tries to get at it before i\'ve even stirred it with the water. Then she laps at it so fast til its GONE. She\'s always been fond of any probiotics i\'ve given to her- they make her feel better- but this one seems extra yummy even to me...looks and even kinda smells like chocolate millk mix!

My 10-year-old kitty suffered with an inflammatory bowel for over a year, with frequent diarrhea. She had extensive veterianry treatment, including a very expensive abdominal ultrasound, and still no answers. But this powder, which comes in convenient one-serving packets, has nearly cured her symptoms. She still has an occasional bad day, but the improvement has been about 80 percent. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with a kitty with chronic runs! You\'ll both feel much better, and quickly.

Fortiflora Feline Fantastic
My vet prescribed this for my 18 yr. cat with chronic kidney failure, thus she has severe diarrhea and a stomach ulcer. I can\'t recommend this enough. I mix each sachet w/ some Pedialite and put it into a syringe and plunge a tiny amount at a time through the side of her mouth (look up online how to do this if you don\'t know how), because she won\'t eat it in her food. It has helped replenish the good flora that she loses during diarrhea.

not good for kittens
I have two cats, one about 2 years old, the other about 10 months. My 2 year old was having diarrhea, so the vet prescribed fortiflora. Both of the cats eat out of the same food bowls, so the 10 month old was also eating the fortiflora. Afterward, he started having blood in his stools. We sent his feces in for a test and it came back negative for parasites or anything. When I stopped giving them fortiflora, the kitten stopped having blood in his stools. Didn\'t help with the 2 year old\'s diarrhea either.

This is a great product
The vet put our dog on this when she tangled with some C. diff. When sprinkled on her food she eats every scap and licks the bowl! She is a small yorkie-poo and soon to be 15. Her digestive system is easily upset these days and this is really helping.
