My cat Patsy at least 12 years old developed painful and debilitating arthritis early this Spring. Crying in pain, unable to hardly walk and hiding out as if she was just going to die. Vet gave her some pain meds and some Duralactin chews in hopes to at least ease her pain. Patsy has been on daily Duralactin for last 3 months and has gone from a barely moving, unable to jump up on a chair to acting kitten like by playing with anything that strikes her attention; running through the house jumping up on couch, chairs, and even counters as if no physical issues were ever-present. She is now a 24 hours house cat even though she sits at the sliding glass door and watches her once outside world. She has become more loving and attentive to me and seems to have well adjusted to being a permanent house cat though I am sure she misses retrieving moles, mice, rabbits, etc. to present to me daily. I use to tell her "if you clean them, I will cook them". My sweet cat and I now share the same arthritic issues but Patsy has definitely found the answer to her problems with her daily Chews. Maybe I should try taking them!
