I was skeptical about this \"brush\" because I\'ve bought several types of brushes for my short haired dog and nothing worked. When I move the brush back and forth my dogs hair comes right off! And he loves it because it\'s like a massage.

Great for cats AND dogs! Only a few strokes and there a mountain of hair in the brush! Wooooow! It\'s an inexpensive tool but I love it.
