It is a plastic cord that covers electrical cords...good concept.
When I opened the box I picked up an odor thinking it was the
packaging because the cords came in heavy plastic.
I took the cords out of the package and WOW what an awful
odor!!! It smelled like women's permanent hair solution.
I left it out over night and the whole room stunk of this odor.
In the description when ordering this product it said it had a
citric odor....far from it!!!

It Works!
September 23, 2016
I purchased both the microcord protector for my cell and tablet chargers as well as the regular size for my cable wire and my cpap machine cord. My cats love to chew cords. Ive had to buy 3 new charger cords prior to finding this product as well as a replacement cord for my cpap machine. I was a bit skeptical but decided I had to try these. And folks, this product really works. There is a slight citrus odor and it seems to have a not so pleasant taste to the cats. One of mine licked it, and turned away and that was that. This product has been in use over a month in my house and there are no chew marks anywhere.

CritterCord Protector is a Must!
November 20, 2015
If you have kittens or big cats who love cords you MUST have this product to protect them. It was quick and easy to add to cords and the thickness of the plastic made the kittens instantly lose their interest in chewing on cords.
