3-PACK CET Hextra Premium Enzymatic for Small Dogs (90 Chews)

I heard about these chews from my vet. They work very well to keep my dog's breath fresh and clean. They also work well at removing tartar from his now pearly whites. Definetely recommend.

The CET Chews are a wonderful product, which has kept, my dog Lil's, teeth clean of tarter, gums in excellent shape and her breath is always fresh. The only problem is, when Lil began these "toothbrushes", as we call them, Hextra was the type, I originally purchased from her vet, when Lil, was about 2 or 3 yrs old. The addition of Hextra, to these chews, ended approx 1 to 1 1/2 yrs ago, so we used the plain CET Chews, to manage her oral care. However, when the Hextra product re-emerged, I purchased this type of CET Chews, again las this is supposedly the better of the two types of Chews.
On-the-other-hand, Lil no longer likes the Hextra type of Chews & I can't get her eat them. The tarter is quickly attaching to her teeth @ the gum line. To resolve this issue & maintain her oral care needs, I plan to purchase the plain CET Chews, again.
I will always, highly recommend this type of product, as long as it is, the CET brand. In fact, I have recommended this product to all my friends w/animals & given them samples from Lil's bag. You can't go wrong, giving your animal(s), these chews.

My dog just loves these chews. I have made several orders from Healthy Pets and am very happy with their service. Expedient delivery after I make the order. I took one of these chews over to my neighbors dog and she just loved them. They ordered a bag for their dog. I highly recommend these chews as well as my Vet doctor highly recommended that we buy this particular brand to help keep my dogs teeth clean. Just hoping that they continue this product for quite some time as she gets one a day, some she hides, others she chews. Also we have not had any issues with them getting caught in her throat and her bowel movements are as normal as they were before she started getting them.

My dogs have enjoyed these treats and have looked forward to them on "treat night." However, there are some negatives: (1) They're very expensive, whether you buy them at the pet store or online (most pet stores don't carry them; you have to buy them at an independent pet-merchandise-related store). (2) They can easily slip down a dog's throat, so my vet advised me to stay in the room when the dogs eat them so they won't choke. Also, when the "chews" get wet and start to bend, they stick to the dog's back teeth. Ever tried to get part of a half-melted Big Hunk off your molars? (3) I've noticed that not all the treats in the bag are uniform in color. Some are very dark brown - and I've found burned areas on them that crumble and fall off - and I often find greenish areas that resemble mold. Perhaps if you included a little information on the back of the bag, describing how these things are made and explaining the color difference....(4) Finally, the corners are very sharp. More than once, I've taken one away from my dog and found blood on it, so it must be puncturing his gums or something else in his mouth. Can't you please round off the corners??
