My favorite dog collar and why!
I've used these collars for over 10 years now. When they went out of the stores, for a while I found them at the dollar stores and then online at Ebay. When the elastic gets worn, you can pull it out of the two sides and redo it with elastic from any fabric shop, use a 1/2 inch wide piece on either side. You can stuff it back into the opening and put a heavy glue on the end you are pushing in. then you glue the other end and stuff that into the other side! VOILA, instant repair after it's dried for a day. They are great for the fast grab on a puppy or a big dog. I guess I will have to go back to fixing them if I can't find some new ones in the future!
Prosthey do not last forever...but you get about a good year or so unless you have a couple of dogs who play all day long and pull each other by the leashes as a part of their playing. I have a 12 week old puppy who has figured out how to grab the 10 year old one's leash so she can drag the big old lady around when they play. It's a very funny sight to see...a 15 pound baby pup pulling a 62 pound dog who is twice her height! The pup has to stand on her back feet and support herself against the big dog while she pulls her around until she can get in front of the big one, make the collar leash part be under old lady's head and then pulls her and she walks backwards! that elastic stretches a good 6-9". The big dog adores the pup so she allows her to do anything she wants to her. If she wanted to stop the game, all the old lady would have to do is turn her head away from the pup's mouth...but she never does.
ConsI never found a con on this product except they are so darn hard to buy!

Hold on to your reciept !
The first collar I bought was very well made. I bought It from a store, not this company. I searched for another one for a long time. It was still working but the eleastic was beginning to wear out. I had had it a long time. So I went to this sight and ordered one. It came in with in 5 days like they said. About 6 days later we noticed there was a string hanging off the side of the collar. I noticed that the whole side of the collar was coming unravelled. Kind of like a pair of cut offs that kind of unravalling. I called the company and asked if there was anything they would do, they told me if I had the packing reciept that they would help me. No I don\'t have that I do have the conformation number but without the order number there wasn\'t anything they could do, If I would like to reorder they will give me a discount. so be sure to keep all your reciepts. It is a good probuct, and yes I will buy another one. But this time I will be sure to keep my reciept.

Bamboo Quick Control Collar
We have the collar on two of our dogs: one\'s a hunting dog mix about 60 lbs and the other\'s a Rhodesian Ridgeback about 110 lbs. The ability for us to grab the collar quickly without injuring ourselves or lifting a dog off the ground when grabbing the collar has been terrific. The collars have lasted about a year now. Re-ordering one because when the dogs play, sometimes the larger dog pulls on the other one\'s collar, which has now stretched the elastic. Well worth the money and ease of use.
