GlycoFlex 3 is Just OK

I got this at the recommendation of my vet for our 13 year old Dixie Dingo (Carolina Dog).
the tablet is easy to break into pieces and my dog eats it well on top of his regular food.
I have not noticed any great improvement at all, and my dog still is struggling to get up the steps. For the high price, I was hoping for much more from this product.
We are only halfway through the bottle, so I will keep hoping.
Merchant Response:Hopefully, Glycoflex has been working out for Dixie. If not, others have had good results with Joint MAX for Cats and Cosequin for Cats. You both take care.

Product really works

My dog's breeder is a Vet and required Glyco Flex to be given to her everyday. I picked her up at 8 weeks of age. I started giving Glyco Flex to all of my dogs at that time. My old dog seemed to benefit from these tablets.
Dogs love them and readily eat them. The tablets are easily cut in two for proper dosage.

My 12 year old samoyed mix has been in declining health for three years. Her legs are weakening causing tripping and falling. Her left hind leg developed loud cracking and popping noises whenever she scratched her ear. It wasn't painful, but sounded like crushing an empty water bottle. I ordered 60 extra strength tablets. It's been over a month and this morning there wasn't a sound when she scratched her head. She still has weak legs, but she feels good enough to run like an old dog. She's happy and gets excited over a 10-minute walk.

Old dog has new lease on life

My 11 year old lab has moderate hip problems. We had her on a different supplement of lower potencies for quite some time. This seemed to help for a while but she began to get worse again having difficulty going up our spiral staircase. After giving her Glyco-Flex III she began executing the stairs with less effort and not stalling out half way up. After laying down for a while she now is able to get up with less effort. I don't know how long she will be able to show this improvement but I am grateful while the effects last!!!

Best product for arthritus

We purchase GlycoFlex III for severely arthritic dogs since our last Labrador had problems with arthritus. His vet said it has the ingredients that are needed to help the joints to replenish themselves. Healthy Pets is a wonderful supplier to order this product, they are the most reasonable price and quick shipping.

My 120 pound Black Lab/Wolf mix has had very little stiffness since starting this product. I reccomend the soft chews for some pets but so far the best product I have tried. He used to limp after every walk but I\'ve seen lots of improvement. There were times he would hurt so bad he couldn\'t get up off the floor. No more Rimadyl which really has some negative side effects anyway. My vet says this is the best stuff around and after using it I agree. I also reccomend considering colostrum for elderly or sick dogs. I own a boarding kennel and plan to stock this product for my furry clientelle. Thanks!

My Vet recommended Glyco-FlexIII for my OES/Great Pyr cross when she started have arthritis at 3! years old. My vet said it would restore her joings. My god he is now 71/2. She runs, plays, has no pain and recent xrays indicate no bone spurs or degeneration in her spine or joints. This product works!

I\'ve been using this with my dog for almost 2 years now. She has a luxating patella and our vet recommended a supplement of this type to delay the inevitable arthritis in the affected knee. Even though I had not thought the dog was in pain, after a month on Glyco-Flex III, she showed some improvements in activity.
We\'ve been able to delay use of the prescription NSAIDs with this product and have been able to preserve the cartilage in the bad knee--these supplements are most effective early on, as their main job is to protect and support what\'s there rather than to rebuild it. Highly recommend to anyone whose dog has a predisposition to arthritis--start the product NOW!

This product far exceeded our expectations. We were hoping; our Chow Retriever unexpectedly came back with a diagnosis of severe hip displaysia at about age 7. Our vet, who is known even outside of the U.S. saw her for a visit 6 months later was astonished. She had had no deterioration whatsoever (after taking Glyco Flex III). He said he had never seen a dog with a degree of deterioration so severe, come back to show no further deterioration whatsoever. Our \'pup\' is now 10 1/2 yrs. old & still loves to chase the birds. Once in a blue moon we give her an anti-inflammatory if we see it is needed, but Glyco-Flex was an incredible start to her \'recovery\' & continues to be a daily must. We order the double pack now. Easier & cheaper.

Eight months ago my 9 year old , mix black lab and pit was not able to jump up and into the back sit of our PU . Took her to the vet and he suggusted placeing her on GLYCO-FLEX III and now she may be a little slower but she\'ll hang with the best of them . Its like having a two year old puppy again.

Last few months, our vet told us about Glyco-Flex III and advised to use it for our beloved son, golden retriever named \'Baby-Bear\'. Although my son still did not have any problem at this 7th year but there is a potential so I preferred to prevent him from any risk & pain, as we would like to stay together as long as we can. After taking it per vet’s instruction, he can walk, run, swim and lay down more proper posture and I could sense that he feel very happy to act same as when he was a puppy. Many thanks.

The Best for your dog!

I now have 3 older dogs on this, they are all like pups after suffering from stiffness and weakness in their back ends. My 13-yr old German Shephard leaps on all fours and, with the others, runs the property like a young dog. I\'ve recommended this and have seen it work the same on friends\' older dogs, too. You HAVE to try this for arthritic dogs!
