Allergies are the sixth leading cause of chronic disease in the United States, costing the healthcare system over $18.0 billion annually. The prevalence of allergic diseases in companion animals mirrors that seen in their human owners. In fact, most pets with disorders are sensitive to the same allergens that evoke an immune response in humans. Nearly 20% of the nation's 54.0 million dogs that receive professional veterinary care have some form of allergy or other immunological disorder.

One of the most common types of allergies is Atopy, an inhalant allergy. These common allergens include pollens, molds, and insects such as ants, cockroaches, flies, and the house dust mite. In this group, the dust mite is the major cause of atopy (allergies) in pets. Unlike contact allergies, the inhalant form of allergies (atopy), must be dealt with in the environment, or home.

That is where Allerase spray comes in. Spraying popular pet areas around the house and even your bedding linens can drastically reduce the amount of allergens in the home environment caused by dust mites, cockroaches and animal dander. Doing so can safely help to reduce both pet and owners allergic responses to these major allergy causing agents.

Directions for use as Spray: Vacuum, launder or steam clean before spraying. Spray to dampen and penetrate surface. One 32 oz. bottle will treat up to 500 sq. ft.

Directions for use in Hot Water Vacuum Cleaning Machine: Clean using detergent. Next, add 2 oz. Anti-Allergen Solution to each gallon of clean warm water and apply. Used this way, a 32 oz. bottle treats 800 sq. ft.

Directions for use in Washing Machine: Add 1/4 cup to final rinse cycle for extended allergen reduction
